Steven Ekanger

I am originally from Fort Dodge, IA. I moved to the Des Moines area in 1996 to study Graphic Design. I graduated in 1998 and have been designing ever since. After having wanting to get into tattooing for several years, I began my apprenticeship with Earl at the Sacred Skin in Clive in late 2006. I learned a lot from Earl, as well as the other fantastic artists in the shop. I began tattooing friends and family in March of 2007. I did that until January of 2008, when Earl and Mike opened Sacred Diamond and have been tattooing full time ever since. I enjoy doing all styles of tattooing. Especially vibrant, bright color pieces and demented, evil stuff.
